Laughlin

We left Los Angeles on Sunday, June 18th and returned Friday, June 23rd

Five nights were spent at the Flamingo resort, lots of eating, lots of 1 cent “Men In Black” slot playing and of course, lots of Sea Doo riding.

Our first ride was Sunday down the Colorado river from Needles through the Topock Gorge.  A really nice ride, although it was a bit crowded on Sunday and the air temperature was over 110.  We usually go down to Lake Havasu and under the London Bridge, but this time we stopped at the “sand bar”, a popular hangout for all sorts of boats and people.

Monday we went to Lake Mojave and scooted around with 80 degree water and air temperatures of about 110.

Tuesday we didn’t boat but took off, drove around, fed the slot machines (and ate).

Wednesday, we launched at Davis Camp, just below the Davis Dam and headed down the river past the Avi Indian Casino. Saw an interesting setup on a PWC (see the pictures).

Thursday we were back in the Lake for a few hours. Both times, because we are not pulling a trailer, we were able to launch and park very quickly.
